Caccia Birch House Masterplan

We’re in the process of developing a Caccia Birch Masterplan to help share the future of this much-loved heritage site. This will set out a long-term vision to preserve and enhance the unique heritage values of the site, while ensuring it continues to be a welcoming and functional space for the community.

The Masterplan will have five main goals:

  • Preserve and enhance heritage values
  • Improve visitor experience and accessibility
  • Support sustainable and resilient development
  • Create a coherent spatial framework
  • Align with strategic and statutory planning frameworks

The Masterplan also ensures alignment with Palmerston North City Council’s strategic goals and planning frameworks, helping care for and future-proof this important site for generations to come.

The work is still in its early stages, and we look forward to sharing more as the plan takes shape.
